Springfield Clifford N Pritts Elementary School is located in the mountain area of Connellsville Area School District. The school provides education services for students in grades kindergarten through the fifth grade. Currently, Springfield has an enrollment of approximately 355 students with an average class size of 20 students.

Kindergarten registration will be held March 2 - March 5. Children must be five years old by June 1, 2026.

The Connellsville Area School District will be closed on February 16 2026 in observance of Presidents Day.

Frozen, the hit Broadway musical, will run February 26 - March 1.
