Guidance Services Offered
- Classroom lessons that relate to character education and the school district’s word of the month program
- Group counseling to help students with peer relations, academic concerns, career awareness, school adjustment and other coping skills
- Individual counseling to help children succeed in school and life (individual counseling is discussed with the parent or guardian to obtain consent)
- Conferences with parents or guardians to discuss their concerns regarding their child’s progress in school
I believe that students can learn from one another and that counseling can provide a pathway for students to learn how to communicate effectively, accept responsibility, enhance their self-esteem, make decisions, and solve problems.
